Newspaper is the paper that contains so many kinds of news. It tells us what happened all over the world during the last twenty four-hours. It is the greatest gift of modem science. It opens the door of the world to us every morning.

There are various opinions about the history of Newspaper. Some say that China was the first country to introduce newspaper. Others say that Venice was the first to introduce it. There were manuscript newspaper in India during the Mughal period. During the British rule newspaper was circulated in large scale from Christian Missionaries at Srirampur. Now-a-days there is newspaper in every country.

Newspaper is very important for all classes of people. By reading newspaper we can learn much at a glance. It discloses what happened at any corner of the world. It IS a great guide. It IS the second government and third state. It IS a good teacher too. It satisfies teachers, students, traders, players, scientists and any other people.

Newspaper is not free from defects. There are often rumors that misguides. Often the real news does not come in the newspaper. The party newspaper harm the new readers and they are derailed. But these are not the faults of the newspaper. Without newspaper civilization is dead at once. The Newspaper should have freedom for its proper service. We all should read newspaper regularly.
